We are very excited to add a Royal feature to The Great Hall space! During this time of isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic, Matt has been working hard to get a new fireplace installed! It's almost completed, we have a few small electrical details that we'll leave to the professionals! We wanted to give you a sneak peek of the space with the new fireplace!
We feel that this new fireplace will bring a touch of Royal elegance to the space for all indoor event, but especially those during the cold winter months in Iowa. It brightens the space and also brings a sense of calm and beauty and it stands out with the high wooden ceilings overhead.
We've also had our daughters home during this time, which has been fun! We have been keeping them busy with general building and grounds maintenance. It's pretty great to have them home for the time being!
